What is Didrex used for?
The sympathomimetic appetite suppressants can help you to
lose weight while you are learning new ways to eat and to
exercise. Changes in eating habits and activity level must
be developed and continued long-term in order for you to
continue losing weight and to keep the lost weight from

Didrex Prescription
- Didrex is usually taken for 8 to 12 weeks.
- This medication is to be taken once daily, swallowed
whole, in midmorning.
- As didrex may cause sleeplessness- avoid taking it
late during a day.
- If you miss a dose of Didrex- do not take 2 doses at
once- doubling up of the medicine is a strict 'No'!
- Do not increase your dose or take it more often than
prescribed because this drug can lead to addiction.
- Also, if used for a longer period of time, do not suddenly
stop this medication without first consulting your doctor.
Using Didrex medication in combination with other appetite
suppressants is generally not recommended. Consult your
doctor before such use.
Didrex Side effects
Side effects that may go away during treatment include
- Restlessness
- Nervousness,
- Difficulty sleeping, or
- Dry mouth.
If they continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor.
